Techita was established in 2004 as a focal point for various web design and development activities its founder
was undertaking at the time. From this humble begining Techita has continued to develop and branch out into
ever more interesting and challenging areas using no advertising and relying on simple word of mouth from our
satisfied customers to spread our name.
Techita's founder, Dave Hodgson, continues to work with our organisation on a daily basis in addition to other engagements.
Our primary aim as an organisation is to help our customers realise tangible operational advantages from their technology and technology based business systems.
In the case of aid agencies and non-government organisations (NGOs) this can be refined further to our desire to provide your projects with tangible and optimal benefits from any technology that is utilised. We recognise that technology in this space even more than others needs to be viewed as a means to attaining goals and this must be performed in the most efficient manner possible. For this reason and because Techita as an organisation supports the work of international aid agencies around the world we are prepared to donate portions of our time freely or at drastically reduced rates for any projects in the international development work space.
These aims are achieved by working closely with our clients to identify the solution appropriate to their budgets, desires for growth and other environmental or cultural considerations.
Techita's key founding principles are based on honesty, openness and a genuine desire to provide the right service at the right price for each situation. We promise we will never recommend our services to you unless we truly believe they will be of benefit to you.
In addition to providing consultancy services to clients and in keeping with our principle to work in an open and honest manner we make a selection of lessons we have learned through our experience freely available to our customers and the general public, these can be found in our tutorials section. Techita was granted 'Expert Author' status at Ezine Articles on 01 October 2007; a recognition and endorsement from their editors that the tutorials submitted for consideration are of an appropriate quality to be featured on their site.
